HEALTH

The goal of the Heath Department is to contribute to the improved health of the Zambian people. This is accomplished by providing accessible, quality basic health care in two clinics, with plans for constructing a third. It also is meeting the need for improved maternity care by constructing a new ward for expectant mothers. The Department also strengthens HIV/AIDS education, prevention, and treatment. In addition, they hold regular outreach campaigns to offer vaccinations and health education.
